$Hi everyone! I hope you’re having a fantastic day.Please take a minute to read on… I know that Tumblr is really great at making things happen so im asking you to help me make this happen. Here is my friends mother’s status to explain: “I am in desperate need of everyone’s help. After reading this status, please like and/or share this status. I am hoping that this will get to the right person who can help us out. As many of you know, my son Seth was accepted for the Make a Wish program. His ultimate wish is to be Santa’s helper on the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade float. Before we even talked to Make a Wish, I spoke to an event coordinator and asked her if it was even possible for this wish to be carried out. I was told it was and that Make a Wish could make a request and they would take it from there. So, that is what they did. When we got a response from Macys, it was heartbreaking. They told me that they do not allow Make A Wish children on the floats. The Make a Wish foundation has since made many phone calls regarding this and done everything they can to get this wish approved, with no luck. I don’t understand how a store like Macy who advertises on how much they support and sponsor The Make a Wish foundation can keep my son’s dream from him. In case you don’t know Seth personally, I will give you a little history of why he is a candidate for Make a Wish. At 7 1/2 weeks old, Seth was brutally beaten by my ex husband. He was in full cardiac and suffered a fractured skull and ribs from the abuse. If it wasnt for the grace of God, he wouldnt be here today. He just recently started having seizures due to a cyst on the brain that formed to take up the space of the part of the brain that died due to the fractured skull and lack of oxygen. He has many other handicaps, including being wheelchair bound and eats through a tube in his stomach because he lost his swallow reflex. Is there anybody out there that has some connections with Macys to help my son get his wish of a lifetime. Thanks in advance for everyone’s help!!” In the picture above is Seth and his family.
